In 2020 Ecotricity selected Enegen as our partner for the provision of software for (UK) Balancing Mechanism entry and participation. National Grid’s 'Wider Access' API communication protocol was a relatively new concept at this stage.
Enegen extended their Genstar4 application to address this new communication method working tirelessly with National Grid and Ecotricity to become the first proprietary software vendor to achieve Wider Access accreditation.
